Primarily, the best time to contact you is between the hours of 9am and 5pm, working hours. External of that, is your time, the time you have for yourself to heal from what's needed to be healed, or refocused. Amending the boundaries of lapse communication can be painful but in order to give you the space does need to be done and reaffirmed.
If people know you are unavailable for contact, they will respect that communication and back off. If you need to be clear, make it a request and or a demand and be firm about what you want. Let your voice be heard in hope that they will eventually back off and leave you be.
